Boomi Artesian Pool

About

Whether you come for a day or stay for a week, Boomi is a place you can make as busy or relaxing as you like. There are walks, historical sites, places to eat, sports to play, swimming, sightseeing and people to meet! The town of Boomi is located near the border of NSW & Queensland, one hour North West of Moree or one hour west of Goondiwindi. Both Lightning Ridge and Queensland can be accessed after a pleasant stopover at the quiet and well shaded Artesian Baths in Boomi. The Boomi Artesian Pool draws artesian water from a depth of 1,222 metres and has been used to swim in since its construction in 1905. Construction of the present day baths was commenced in 1975 and the latest addition of the spa baths was in 1996.

Come and relax in the quiet and uncrowded spa and swimming pool complex.
